ST. FRANCIS HOUSE

The St Francis House is an ecumenical ministry that provides transitional housing and programming to assist the homeless in reaching independence and stability. Volunteers will prepare or serve the evening meal from 6:00-7:30pm or serve lunch from 11:45am-12:45pm Contact Marge 351-3870.

FUNERAL MINISTRY

Provide Food – Provide a salad or bars, when called.

Serve Funeral Luncheon - Help with serving and help with clean up. Contact the parish office at 371-2320.

FAMILY TO FAMILY MINISTRY

Holy Spirit Parish created this ministry to provide good quality clothing to those in need – children and adults. Volunteer opportunities through our partnership with the Union Gospel Mission. For volunteer opportunities go to: [email protected] or www.ugsiouxfalls.com.

MEALS-ON-WHEELS

The Meals-On-Wheels Ministry delivers on Monday and Friday each week. We pick-up meals at Hope Lutheran Church on 24th and Cliff Ave at 10:45am. Our route is in the Sycamore and Washington High School area. It typically takes about one hour from the time of leaving home or work until the empty bags are dropped off back at Hope Lutheran Church. Holy Spirit has delivered this route for twelve years and we ask that each person signing up take just one day each month. This is a great opportunity for parents to take their children along or for friends to get together each month, deliver the meals and have a lunch date afterward. MANNA MINISTRY

This ministry provides meals for families going through challenging times, family crises of some kind or for new parents. The volunteers prepare the meals and have them available for pick up at the church or delivered to families. Consideration is given for families with special dietary needs. YARD AND GARDEN

Join other parishioners once a month, May through October to keep the Church and rectory grounds spruced up and free of weeds. Contact Nancy at 310-6850 or Email or Tom Donley at 371-1624.
