The hospitality ministry’s mission is to create an environment of radical hospitality. At the Sunday liturgies, the ministry creates a welcoming environment to all people. For new parishioners, hospitality continues with a follow-up to the registration process and helping new members to become aware of how they can become active members of our community. Greeters are asked to share a ready smile, and a welcoming spirit with our parishioners and guests as they arrive for Mass. Greeters are usually scheduled once every 6-8 weeks and are asked to arrive 20 minutes before Mass begins. Contact Julie at Email.


The ushers help with various functions during Mass, some included are: assist parishioners to their seats as needed, collection of the offertory gifts, direct the parishioners to designated areas for Communion, pass out bulletins to the parishioners after Mass. Contact parish office.


Help with making coffee, serving the coffee and rolls and cleaning up after the 9 a.m. Sunday Mass. Contact Terese at 371-2320.



Altar servers assist the priest during the Mass. This ministry is open to all students in 5th grade and older. To be an altar server you must attend a training session. Contact Deacon Pat at 371-2320.


Gift bearers represent the community in presenting the bread and wine for consecration. Contact Deacon Pat at 371-2320.


Lectors engage the community in thoughtful reflection on the Word of God through proclamation of the scriptures, responsorial psalms and general intercessions. Training is provided. Contact Steve at Email.


Eucharistic Ministers distribute the Body and Blood of Christ to those who come to Holy Communion at all liturgies. Training is provided. Contact Deacon Pat at 371-2320.


Sacristans assist with the preparations for Mass, and ensuring that all the servers, lectors, Eucharistic ministers, and gift bearers are present for Mass. Contact Deacon Pat at 371- 2320.


The object of the Legion of Mary is the glory of God through the holiness of its members developed by prayer and active cooperation in Mary’s and the Church’s work. The unit of the Legion of Mary is called a presidium, which holds weekly meetings where prayer is intermingled with reports and discussion. The Holy Spirit Prayer Chain is a means of supporting with prayer those of the parish burdened by illness or other crises. Requests are sent by email and prayer chain members pray for those intentions. Contact Candy at Email.


The Art and Environment Ministry works to serve God and the parish by enhancing the Church’s sacred spaces for liturgical seasons with flowers, fabric and natural items to bring more meaning to what is being celebrated and to bring parishioners closer to Jesus. Contact Denita at Email.


The primary purpose of this ministry is to pray for fellow parishioners who are going through treatment for cancer. We ask team members to pray daily for those on our prayer list with a special intercession request to St. Peregrine (the Patron Saint of cancer patients). We desire to go deeper in our faith realizing we can’t do this on our own. Our mission is “A brotherhood of Leader’s in God’s Army – Striving to become better men, husbands, fathers and most importantly friends of Jesus Christ.” We Meet Friday mornings 6-7:30 p.m. with breakfast and discussion or Wednesday evenings with discussion from 7-8:30 p.m. This group is an interactive gathering focusing on men sharing their Catholic faith and challenges in the modern world. Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) sponsors are members of the parish community who, functioning as trusted companions, accompany adults wishing to become members of our Catholic faith on their journey. A sponsor prays with and for the candidate, listens attentively, and acts as a mentor participating in all aspects of the Christian journey. Contact Deacon Pat at 371-2320.


Catholic Engaged Encounter is a weekend retreat for couples preparing for the sacrament of marriage. Two married couples and a priest present prepared talks that share the joys and challenges of marriage as well as the Catholic Church’s teaching on the sacrament. Support teams help with set-up and other behind-the-scenes activities. You are welcome to observe a weekend to learn more about how you can become a part of this beautiful ministry. Married couples help prepare engaged couples for the Sacrament of Marriage by meeting with couples several times to discuss results of the FOCCUS inventory for marriage preparation. Training is required. Contact Nancy Syring at 371-2320.

SEARCH for Christian Maturity Retreat

Know, Love and Serve the Lord. Search is a student led retreat with talks, skits, music, and opportunities for the Sacraments. It is a weekend where youth and adults from the parish can come and join together and cheer each other on towards Heaven. There are many ways to help: Retreat Team: come and participate, Prayer Team: come and pray, Food: provide food for the weekend, Overnights: keep our youth safe during the night, Music Team: provide music for the retreat & Sacraments and Search Board: help plan the retreat.
