Altar Server Training for Public School Students

Altar Server training for 5th thru 8th grade students who attend public schools will be on Thursday, September 30th, 2010 from 4:00-6:00 PM and on Saturday, October 2nd, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Pizza will be served on both days. Please call the parish office to sign up to be an altar server if you did not turn in a stewardship form. Note: Catholic School students will be trained during the school day. Any questions, please call Fr. Haggerty at 605.371.2320.

Catechist In-Service

[ September 1, 2010; 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. ] Holy Spirit will be holding a Catechist In-Service on Wednesday, September 1st, 2010 at 6:30 PM in the lower level of the church.

Adult Education Begins

Adult Education at Holy Spirit is beginning again on Tuesday, September 7th, 2010 at 7:00 PM in the Fireside Room. Msgr. Charles Mangan, Vicar for Consecrated Life; Director, Marian Apostolate In the Diocese, and Canonical Advisor to the Bishop will be the presenter. He will present on “Forming Your Catholic Conscience – What’s Right or Wrong?” Please join us for refreshments following the presentation. It is time again for RCIA to begin. If you are a non- Catholic spouse of a member of Holy Spirit Church and would like to learn more about the Catholic faith, these are the classes for you. They are also great for Catholics that want to learn more about their faith and for those returning to their Catholic roots after being away for any length of time.
