Volunteers Needed for Serving Banquet
Holy Spirit will be serving a meal at The Banquet on July 26th, 2010.
We are in need of 6-7 volunteers to help prepare the meal at 10:00 a.m. and 35-40 people to help serve the meal at 5:15-5:30 p.m. Please call the parish office at 605-371-2320 to volunteer.
Sacristans Needed for 9:00 a.m. Mass
Holy Spirit Church is in need of volunteers to be Sacristans at the 9:00 AM Mass. We would like an additional three or four volunteers so you are on once every 4 or 5 weeks. Call Cheri in the parish office at 605.371.2320.
YK: Planning Trip to “All Shook Up”
Yesterday’s Kids are planning another trip to Chanhassen Dinner Theatre on Saturday, August 14th to see the production, “All Shook Up”.
It is an irresistible musical comedy-love story about a small town girl who dreams of hitting the open road & the mysterious guitar-playing stranger who brings romance and rock “n” roll into her life. The music in the production includes Elvis Presley songs and other big names. “All Shook Up” was on Broadway in 2005 and is now at Chanhassen beginning in August.
We will leave in the morning and return that same evening. The cost for the trip is $100 which includes the bus, tip for the driver, and the Dinner Theatre. Call Kathy Davis at 371-2320 to sign up for the trip or with any questions.
Coffee & Rolls Servers Needed
The 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month, The Little Parish Leaders help serve coffee and rolls during the months of September thru May. During the summer we rely on parishioners to volunteer their time and talent. We need families to help serve on the following Sundays thru the summer:
Your duties are to make the coffee and juice, put the rolls out and to clean up after. Prepare before the 9AM Mass and serve after the 9AM Mass. Please call the parish office to volunteer at 605.371.2320.
